ARTEMIDE OPENS ITS NEW FRANKFURT SHOWROOM
11 March 2026

Frankfurt, 11 March 2026 – Artemide inaugurated its new Frankfurt flagship store on 10 March, during the Light+Building 2026 fair. The new space, around 470 square metres arranged over two floors, remains at Baseler Straße 10, where Artemide’s previous monobrand showroom had been located since 2009.
The new showroom is conceived more than ever as a place to discover the full range of Artemide collections, while also serving as a reference point, a genuine centre of expertise for professionals in the sector as well as end customers.

This opening further strengthens Artemide’s philosophy of offering not only products but also services and expertise, becoming a significant partner for understanding the performance of Artemide solutions and making informed choices about light, supported by a comprehensive and tailored service. The Artemide showroom is not simply an exhibition space where light is presented through the experience and beauty of the products. It is a centre of expertise for both private clients and industry professionals, where the breadth and versatility of the collections on display ensure the most suitable solution for every field of application, from residential and hospitality to office and retail, from museum and gallery spaces through to outdoor environments. The generous interiors now showcase the full spectrum of Artemide collections, from iconic pieces to the most innovative systems developed in collaboration with some of the world’s leading architecture studios, bringing together cutting-edge technology and manufacturing excellence.
Artemide has always listened to the world through research and through its connection with those shaping the spaces of today and tomorrow. Inspired by the vision of founder Ernesto Gismondi, Artemide brings together creativity and precision, expertise and craftsmanship, all filtered through a commitment to environmental and social sustainability.

The inauguration also provides an opportunity to present new lighting solutions developed through these collaborations, expressions of Dialogues, through which leading contemporary architects interpret Artemide’s expertise. BIG – Bjarke Ingels Group, Foster+Partners Industrial Design, Herzog & de Meuron, Giulia Foscari, Carlo Colombo, OBR - Open Building Research, Neil Poulton, SOM - Skidmore, Owings & Merrill and Carlotta de Bevilacqua are the authors of the latest collections.

These projects explore light at every scale: as a structural element that complements and completes architecture, and as a mobile, adaptable presence within spaces, shaping life and relationships. These are flexible designs that move easily across different applications, conceived to bring high-quality light to every environment, indoors and outdoors.

Both classic materials like blown glass and innovative solutions incorporate Artemide’s patented optical principles. All Artemide lighting is designed in relation to the space it inhabits and to the psychological and physiological well-being of those who experience it, with carefully measured parameters that ensure optimal perception and close attention to energy use, increasingly reduced thanks to optoelectronic solutions capable of delivering extremely high levels of efficiency.
Artemide continues to stand as a global ambassador of innovation and Made in Italy.
